About Us

SchoolPage is a non-profit organization that supports education in a variety of ways. SchoolPage starts by providing educators and parents with their own community for networking and sharing ideas. SchoolPage also offers schools an effective and efficient method of online fund raising.

As a non-profit, SchoolPage looks forward to giving back to the community that will make it what it was destined to be: an advancement of education into the digital age. Below is a summary of our main features:

School's Fundraising Page: SchoolPage offers schools and other non-profits in the community free use of SchoolPage fund raising pages. Fund raising pages helps connect the school with local businesses and members of the community through a simple, yet powerful method. Here's how it works....

Local businesses donate money directly to schools and receive ad space on the school's fundraising page. Members of the community visit their school's fund raising page and see the ads from their local sponsors. Members click the 'help your school' button on the page and local sponsors’ ads are rotated out with other local sponsors. Once all of the local sponsor's ads are displayed, the local business donates more to schools.

Videos: The video section of SchoolPage provides users the best method of sharing knowledge available. The goal of the video section is to become a portal for instructional videos where educators can share teaching methods in their respective fields. Videos posted by educators can be shared with other educators as well as parents.

Recommendations: Recommendations allow members to recommend members and their content to other members. Educators can recommend instructional video to their student's parents, or recommend teaching tips and videos to colleagues. This feature can also be used by parents to refer local tutors to other parents in the area.

Teaching Tips: Educators can share teaching tips ranging from simple ideas to detailed lesson plans. Teaching tips allow educators to share best practices in the classroom, and will help shorten the learning curve for new teachers.
